Elverum accident: The driver can be questioned this week – VG

Police hope they this week given the opportunity to interrogate the driver of the car that was involved in the fatal accident in Elverum last week.

The 18-year old driver was the only one of them who was in the car, who survived the accident Thursday night. Three youths were killed.

– He should circumstances feel good and should already be written out of the hospital and are well taken care of by their immediate, says acting station chief Ove Osgjelten on Elverum police station NRK.

The violent incident occurred when the passenger car hit a moose on highway 25 at Hernes Elverum municipality in Hedmark . The car then drove off the road and into a tree.

Oda Aurora Scarce Løkting from Hernes (18) and Lars Erik Otnesbukta Sagvold (19) was killed instantly. The third passenger, 16 year old Eva Charlotte Pedersen Danielsen, died later Friday at the hospital from injuries she suffered.

Police plan interrogation of two drivers who were first at the scene, along with the surviving 18-year-old .

– We will also examine the discoveries made at the site closer and we have received some tips during the weekend which we will follow up, says Osgjelten.
