Pilots Organization asks pilots boycott English – TV 2

Society vice president, South African Fanie Coetzee, comes with the invitation in a letter to all the union’s member organizations around the world. In the letter he asks everyone to refrain from helping airlines to get hired aircraft and crew, writes Aftenposten.

– The number of pilots without permanent employment in an airline is increasing and English exploits by sending pilots on loose contracts into conflict area Scandinavia. Although Norwegian Pilot Union is not a membership organization, several of their pilots chosen to be members of Norwegian Pilots Association, writes Coetzee.

pilots in English had already asked IFALPA about blacklist pilots that contribute to strikebreaking. It was Swedish Pilotförening who sent the request to the organization, lighted Parat.

Halvor Vatnar, leader of Norwegian Pilots Union, has also sent requests for transport workers’ organizations NTF, ETF and ITF.
