Two women and a man died in the fire. Police are waiting for a secure identification of the three, but have an idea of who they are. The three fatalities are sent to Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
– We can not say anything about the cause of the fire. We are awaiting including the autopsy report. It will together with further investigations on fire place could give us answers to what caused this tragic fire, said sheriff in Lower Spokes, Torill Sorte.

We must check out all directions and would not rule out anything, but there is still nothing to suggest that someone other than the three fatalities involved.

Police were alerted about the fire via AMK clock 17.38 Sunday and was in place seven minutes later.
– The investigation will include involve questioning of witnesses, relatives and residents of the apartment complex. We will also collect audit logs and telephone traffic that can give us a picture of what has happened. This work is underway, says Black.
One of the dead women were found on the front porch, the other two were found inside the residence.

Police believe the woman who died in the fire, even called and alerted the fire department.
– It is too early to say whether there is anything criminal behind, but there are no indications that the are more than those three dead involved. We are quite confident that the fire started inside the apartment, said sheriff Black NTB Sunday night.
Just one of the dead lived in the apartment. The other two were visiting when the fire broke out.
There are four units in the town house, and several people were evacuated. Because of the strong smoke development were also residents from some houses that lay nearby, evacuated.
