The arrest of the accused man came to 21.15 am on Friday. The police had then set the search after searching for the man all day. Armed police approached the man after receiving a tip that he had gone home to his own home.
– The person arrested without any drama. He is expected to be questioned sat out on the day, said operations Hebbe Kimo in Sør-Trøndelag police.
Early Friday morning was a huge police action triggered after it was fired several shots at the car with the arrested man’s former partner.
The woman was brought to safety, but after it became clear that it was løsammunisjon who was fired from a starter pistol, the police decided to scale down the scope of the search for the man.
Police believe the shooting may have backgrounds in custody. Which aftermath now waiting is not clear.
– Penal Code does not see much difference whether a weapon is fired with live ammunition or løsammunisjon, says Kimo.
The man in his 30s was observed on the bike after the shooting, police received notification of the clock 8:38. The police have always known the identity of the man. (© NTB)
