Seriously injured to hospital after a frontal impact at Hellesylt – Sunnmørsposten

Two cars were involved in a frontal collision on county road 60 in Hellesylt Saturday afternoon. All emergency services responded after the message came a little after the clock 13.

One person sat for a while jammed in one of the vehicles. At 13.45 notified the police that the two injured were out of the cars and sent to the hospital by air ambulance.

– We have been informed that both individuals were conscious after the accident, ” says operasjonsleder Per Åge Ferstad with the police in Sunnmøre to the smp.now later in the afternoon.

By 16-time had the police not more information about the course of events.

Police had at the time not talked neither with the two involved drivers, or any other witnesses to the accident itself. It was one of the drivers to have reported the accident.

The powerful collision happened at Nybø/Holen, about a mile from Hellesylt in the direction of Stryn (see map, journ. anm.)

the Road is partially closed throughout the afternoon and will be there a good while going forward, while the police do their investigations.

Ulykkesgruppa to the public roads administration is notified of the collision, and the local police send out technicians to do the investigations, says police at 14.20-time.

Fire brigade: – High speed

the Fire service received a message about ulykka at 13.08, tells Frank Austdal at 110 centre in the county of Møre and Romsdal to the smp.no.

There were two people involved, one in each car. The one set jammed and is brought together with the other patient in the helicopter, I guess they are transported to the Ålesund hospital, says Austdal.

According to the 110 center, it went fairly quickly to get the person freed from the vehicle.

– I have understood that there has been a high speed inside the image, and that there has been a frontal collision, ” says Austdal.
