The man was arrested in eastern Thursday, according Salten police district. He is accused of violating the homicide section – Penal Code Section 148 – to have established fire with risk of loss and life or extensive destruction of foreign property.
Police believe they have reasonable grounds to suspect the man, and considers the probability that the fire is alight, and that it is the accused who are behind.
The suspicion is based partly on preliminary technical findings and partly tactical information gathered so far in the investigation, but will not go into detail about what suspicion concrete based, police said.
– We would like to emphasize that although it is considered to exist reasonable grounds for suspicion against the accused is the investigation itself is still at an early stage, said police prosecutor Bjarte Walla at Salten police.
The accused, who is employed by Jysk Bodo, the former as a witness in the case, and will be considered made for remand during Friday.

The fire started at Jysk in Hunstad Centre at 20.20 pm on Wednesday, 24 June. The fire department did not control the fire until almost a day later.
