The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has issued OBS forecast and is projecting much rainfall over the region from Tuesday morning. In the five counties are notified 20-40 millimeters of rain.
– This may cause water levels increase to yellow level in smaller and medium-sized rivers and streams, said NVE forecasting Varsom.no.
Yellow level is the second of four caution level, and implies that there may be localized flooding in densely populated areas and be especially high flow for the year.
