At least two shots were fired by the club in 1 am on Sunday. Three people have been injured, two of them being treated for knife injuries. No one was hit by bullets, which police said was shot from the outside in at the club.
Police arrested after the incident first one man they suspect was the person who shot, while the three who were injured, was arrested somewhat later.
– There are four taken. Wood is charged with aggravated assault and one for police. All are known gang criminals. They are Norwegian nationals of Pakistani origin, says Torstein Holand, head of the department for special operations in the Oslo police said.
Police said it probably concerns a gang conflict.
– We do not know the subject, but some of those implicated have been enemies with multiple factions, says Holand.
Police got into the first message on the issue in time 1.30 and were Saturday night on site with many patrols.
No gunshot wounds
Among the three men who police suspect was not standing behind the shooting, but was involved in the quarrel, the one sent to Ullevål hospital with knife injuries, another sent to the emergency room for treatment of what is probably also the knife injuries, while the third escaped with minor injuries.
– We are continuing the investigation, interviewing witnesses, reviewing video of the area and conducting technical examinations of the weapon we have found, says Holand.
Bloody man on the floor
The area at the intersection of Akersgata and border was cordoned off after the event.
A group of friends VG spoke to outside the club, saying they were inside and danced when several began fighting outside
– So they came in and lifted table and chairs and threw them at each other. There was a man on the floor, he was very bloody and was stabbed in the face. Since continued fighting inside, and suddenly we heard a shot being fired outside.
– We threw ourselves on the ground and tried to gather a group of friends behind a post. The shot hit the window. Then came the one shot, but I do not know where it was shot. There were people everywhere, they say. (© NTB)
