Buskerud will turn along with the two counties that have said no – NRK

For the counties of Akershus and Østfold have already decided that they will not turn together with Buskerud.

– A bad deal

One of those who are among the yes-majority in Buskerud is Frp politician Lavrans Kierulf. Nevertheless, he believes that it is a bad deal.

We voted for this agreement because we are to improve the efficiency and retningsvalget, but the content of the agreement, we believe, however, is for the poor, ” he says.

Kierulf believe it has been done a too bad job during the negotiations, and believes that Buskerud does not come well out of it.

– It should have been a more concrete agreement, and Buskerud should have had much more attention in the negotiations.

Up to Parliament to decide

Anne Sandum in the Labour party is clear that the region the Creek is to the best of Buskerud.

– We could also thought us that Vestfold was a part of the community that we want us into, ” she says.

Both politicians underline that it is now up to Parliament to decide what happens with the three counties.

We have done the job we have been asked to do and we have given the answer that we think is best for Buskerud, ” says Sandum.

– We have no other choice now. It is not the time to negotiate new deals, so we’ll see what the Parliament come up to, ” says Kierulf.
