Fabian Stang was not sure listeplass of their own in the Frogner district Right – VG

Fabian Rod (61) has the ambition stortingskarriere, but was pushed down on the eighth place, when his own local branch set up its suggestions to the stortingsliste.

The former popular mayor of Oslo, was in no way some special treatment of his own local during nominasjonsmøtet Thursday night.

Despite several attempts along the way in the meeting in order to place the Rod on a safer place with the aim of stortingsplass from next autumn, so they decided 40 attendees from Frogner Right that he did not stand higher than åttendeplass.

Rod was proposed in the first place and several of the top spots, but to no avail.

A åttendeplass on the final nominasjonsliste means that the Rod will not come into the Parliament – if Oslo Right receive as many as today’s six representatives after the parliamentary election in the fall.

– I have offered me to be on to get enough votes for next year’s elections so that we can continue in the government. If some of my good friends in Oslo Right believes that other people can do the job better, I have of course respect for it, ” says Rod VG.

Leader Ola Kvisgaard in Frogner Right says he is not really so surprised that Fabian Stang ended up a piece of “down the hillside” on the list.

– No, I’m not so surprised. He was suggested further up on the list, but the majority maintained a list consisting of established and skilled rikspolitikere in front of the Rod, ” says Kvisgaard to VG.

All the seven seats in front of Fabian Stang on the list held by the politicians in the same order in which they were set and chosen at the last general election.

” Even were Kvisgaard placed on the square behind Fabian Stang.

Will the “top division”

the Leader Eirik Lae-Solberg in nominasjonskomitéen in Oslo Right is it not natural that he is commenting on bydellagets suggestions to the candidate list.

– But I’m glad that there is a lot of engagement about who should stand on the Oslo Conservative stortingsliste, ” says Lae-Solberg to VG.

Oslo, Right is currently conducting a parallel advisory uravstemning where all members until 24. november can vote on who should represent the party on Oslo-bench in Parliament from next autumn. The final nominasjonsmøtet be held in February.

Earlier in the fall did Fabian Stang, it is clear that he went into the safe space on the Oslo Conservative list for the parliamentary election.

As the mayor of Oslo I have had the pleasure of playing in a central position, in the 1. division. But Parliament is, after all, the top division, and it is tempting to try, said Rod VG the 8. september.
