Berit Ås honorary member of No to EU – Nationen

The citation from the No to the EU called it, among other things, that Hill through all the EC/EU the fighting has been a resource for no movement.

She has greatly contributed to the information, knowledge and alignment in the political work of why the EU issue is so important for women.

In september 1971 was “Kvinneaksjonen against Norwegian membership in the EEC” formed by Berit Ås, together with the other women.

Berit Ås was the socialist left first chairman from 1975 to 1976 and deputy chairman from 76 to 79. She sat in Parliament in one period from 1973. (©NTB)
