The trailer came from Lyon in France via car ferry from Kiel in Germany on Monday night that were arrived in Gothenburg on Tuesday.
The two, who claim to be refugees, were arrested by Herstrøm around a mil west Drammen center.
Drammens Tidende has spoken with trailer drivers, Frank and Johnny Olsen in Krøderen Transport Service. They were on their way home when they stopped and discovered two holes in the tarpaulin behind the trailer.
– It was like a vent. When we opened the doors behind to see, we saw two guys sitting in the cargo hold. We tried to shut them inside, but when they cut holes in the roof and jumped out, said Frank Olsen, adding that the brothers are quite sure that stowaways came in while they were on the boat to Stena Line.
