The lawyer Amir Mirmotahari (38) was arrested yesterday, charged with having influenced a player in the judiciary. The reason is claims in a case VG published Wednesday night, where Mirmotahari in an audio recording discussing the possibility of kidnap victim in the rape case.

Imprisonment meeting will take place at 13.00 in the Oslo District Court. NRK spoke Thursday with counsel Grethe Larsen, representing rape victim who Mirmotahari should have requested that was kidnapped. Larsen says she is glad that the police have decided to investigate the case, following a request of the public prosecutor Jørn Maurud.
– This is about human dignity, that they are stepped on in that way. It’s important to her that it will be a relief, and that it has consequences.
VG published Thursday yet another case, a recording where Mirmoktahari discussing the possibility of sabotage the opening of a nightclub in Fredrikstad. Mirmoktahari rejects the allegations, arguing it was the torpedo that approached him to discuss the possibility of sabotage.
