Right-people resigning in protest against aircraft seat fee – OBI Online

The charge introduced on 1 June this year has upset local Conservative politicians long, and now someone had enough, NRK reported. They believe their own parliamentary representatives not doing enough to secure jobs at Moss Airport Rygge.

– We think this is the way we can tell how disappointed we are. We depend on all jobs, says former mayor in Rygge municipality, Aud Kristin Loken.

Also Johnny Trandem, leader in the control of Rygge Conservative Party, says he will quit the party.

– I have very little confidence in my party when it comes to this here, and I’m also disappointed representatives from Østfold on socialist side that has not been very visible in the case, he said.

there are tens Conservative members in Rygge that is going to resign, according to Trandem.

Parliament Ingjerd Schou (H) defends now charge that she has previously called an “idiot tax ‘. She believes it is wrong to withdraw from the party.

– I hope people see that it is worth fighting for change both within the tax system, but also for the Conservative politics in my and our county, she said.
