The man was found dead in the river by residents around midnight on Thursday. Emergency services were alerted in time 0:10 and pulled out of the place. It was attempted CPR, but the man’s life was not to rescue, police said.
– There is nothing to suggest that the man is victim of a crime, or that it should have happened some external things against him. He has probably slipped and fell. He had suffered a cut in his head, said operations Frode Kolltveit West police.
Police said the man was alone when he allegedly tried to cross the river. They have been informed that he should have been out to look for some sheep.
The police will conduct further inquiries into the matter during the day Thursday. His family has been notified and will be followed by a crisis team.
