Charged with severe bodily injury in Steinkjer – Adresseavisen

A woman in their 50s were found dead in Steinkjer Thursday night. Two people are charged with severe bodily injury in connection with the case. It writes the police said in a statement.

Police Attorney Kristin Ansnes at Trøndelag Police informs Adresseavisen that the indictment is identical for both, and that it is about contributing to gross bodily injury.

– Could it be appropriate to produce the accused for custody?

– We are not there yet. This may be a perfectly natural death, and we are now awaiting the preliminary autopsy report, said Ansnes, adding conclusion will be crucial to how the police handle the matter.



Have relation to deceased

Findings and information at the scene, did the police started investigation into the case, according to the press release.

A violation of the new Penal Code section 274 – gross bodily injury – has a maximum penalty of up to ten years .
