The man let out on scooter ride at 17 o’clock Friday and when he came back pulled his son out to look for him in the area of Stuggusjøen.
– He was found with scooter in part to it, and it appears that he have driven off a cliff or snødyne, said operations manager Bjorn Handegard Trondelag police. Attempts were made at resuscitation, but his life could not be saved.
– We do not know how long he has lain before he was found. The cause of death is not clarified, so there will be conducted an autopsy to determine whether the death was due to illness or the descent, explains Handegard.
The police reported the accident a little after 23 GMT Friday night.
