– We assume that the arrested person is her husband. They live at that address, and they have children together, but the formal status has not been confirmed yet, said operations manager Find Håvard Aas in South-East police.
Two children – 9 and 17 years – was in the house when the woman was stabbed. Aas says that they are cared for by child welfare and family members.
Surgical manager said the woman had life-threatening injuries when she was flown to hospital.
– The last messages we have received is that her condition is now stable and that there is talk of serious damage.
the reason for the stabbing is not known. The police was notified about the case from the ambulance service clock 22.36.
