Woman (56) found dead after fire in Odda – Dagbladet.no

The person is sent to Gades Institute for autopsy and final identification, confirming sheriff Terje Kvalvik Hardanger opposite NTB.

Crime Technicians from Western police arrived Monday to Odda to assist local police and fire departments in the investigation following the fire in Eitrheimsvegen Sunday morning. It took time for technicians to investigate the fire site.

– The ceiling was burned and partially collapsed, so it had some safety work before we arrived, says Kvalvik.

The woman, who was in the house at a party, shall be settled the attic to sleep.

In all, five people were sent to hospital for checks, and two neighboring houses were evacuated because of the powerful fire house.

Saturday night had been festering in the residence. Residents who were in the house and came out, were four adults and a three years old child. There were high winds in Odda when the fire occurred.
