– We began to see a significant increase last year in the category which includes rape after initial contact has been on Tinder and other dating sites, said police superintendent Kari-Janne Lid in oslo police section for violent and sexual crimes VG. Tinder spokeswoman Rosette Pambakian said the company takes user security seriously and has strict rules, but they are not immune to adverse events.
