Åsane The road was closed after 60 cars have been involved in an accident in Eidsvåg in Bergen, direction north towards Åsane.
the clock in 1005 was road reopened to normal traffic, but there are huge queues throughout Bergen.
The accident site is 200 meters long and about 40 of those involved cars are damaged.
– With the scale we’ve had, we’ve been fortunate in that it has been few injuries. Three people have been bruised, and two are driven to Haukeland Hospital, and one of Bergen casualty clinic, says efforts leader Kjetil Øyri police.
The fire department says that it should be very smooth on the premises, and police warn motorists throughout the Houston area.
Some cars have left the place, but many are waiting for recovery services.
Powerful slams
Øyri says there have been several collisions.
– Some of the vehicles has some major damage. We are working intensively to reopen the road as soon as possible. Clearly this puts bilbergingsmannskapene to the test, he said.
He says it will be strewn at the site before the road could open and that all grit cars are out in the Houston area.
The accident happened on the ground down against Eidsvåg just after the tunnel.

– Zero grip
Orjan Hannisdal and Mads Stølen were two of those who were involved in the accident.
they say they have not noticed anything special before they ran into Eidsvåg tunnel, but that all changed on the other side.
– I saw lots of hazard warning lights and began to slow, but from the top of the hill just slipped the car. I slipped about 200 meters, and manages to stop. Then came the second car (car Mads, journ.’s Note), and hit me.
Everything went well with the two. Mads describes the event as follows:
– I slipped from the top of the hill and down. There was absolutely no grip. The car has got a good punch, but it goes well with me, he said.
Oliver says there were cars crisscrossing, and it just filled up with cars behind him collided after he even had managed to stop.
No effect of braking
Arne Gotvassli tells BA that he came out of Eidsvåg tunnel and saw that many cars had stopped down the hill in Eidsvåg.

60 cars in chain collision
– I pressed the brake, but nothing happened. The car skidded down and I crashed first into the barrier. It was thrown in the road and crashed into two cars that had already stopped in the road, he said, adding:
– It was quite stressful to skil down the road while the crashed cars around me at all edges.
Arne Gotvassli was one of those involved in the collision.
Gotvassli came from drama without injury, and says that he could not have seen others with serious injuries.
– the car flew far
Leif Atle Husøy was a of the first who came to the scene.
– I saw the first car that crashed, a red car that had flared. it drove then on E39, the traffic island and down the ramp to Åsane. it flew quite far down, says Husøy to BA
Although he managed to stop the car out to crash in anybody. he and another who was driving, ran down to help the driver who had crashed.
– as we came out of the car, it began to crash cars around us, he says.
Husøy and the other man was down and helped out the driver who said he had escaped with some neck pain.
-As we went up and start helping people who had crashed backwards. It is so smooth here that one could been skating, says Husøy.
According to BA’s reporter at the site have now made good progress with the cleanup.
– The city NAF and Viking car rentals are securely in place here, he said.
Delayed bus
There are also long queues other way, towards the center.
buses from Åsane shall also be delayed due to the icy road. According to a tipping should not have come any buses in half an hour towards the city center along the line 3 in Åsane. This corresponds to 3-4 departures.
