Three people have been confirmed dead in an accident in which two cars collided. The accident occurred on Highway 7 at Torpomoen in Al Municipality in Hallingdal. Police were alerted in time 3.49.
– We are working to notify the next of kin, in parallel with that we try to find out what has happened, says section Britt Fiksen in Northern Buskerud Police District to TV 2.
Meeting Accident
According to police, one accident car registered in Norway, while the other is registered in Lithuania.
– What I can say is that it revolves around a meeting accident, says Fiksen.
A fourth person is sent by air ambulance to Ullevaal Hospital in Oslo. The condition is not yet known.
Workers on site
Police work continued at the site for 10-time Monday.
– Police and accident commission on site. We do research related to the involved cars.
