(Dagbladet): NOKAS watchman in his 30s who called dialer that he had been shot at work on Wednesday morning, has stated that he lied to cover up the accident with a starting pistol.

– He tried to cover up the incident because he was afraid of losing his job, says lawyer Trygve Staff to NRK after speaking with his client in jail Thursday afternoon.

Dagbladet tells Staff that his client testified that it was her husband’s private start pistol that was used.

– He brought this on parts of the guard to increase their sense of security. When he went to test this went wrong and that was when the panic came Staff says to Dagbladet.

The man is portrayed for custody Friday charged under straffelocvens paragraph 166 of perjury. The penalty is two years. Watchman acknowledge guilt, but he says client probably will covet his release.

– I do not know on what basis they want to remanding in custody to him, says Staff to Dagbladet.

The watchman has worked for NOKAS since 2013, not 2011 that the company falsely stated until this morning.

Three cases – with physical injuries

Also on two previous occasions watchman reported attack while he has been at work in the same area – one time with a knife and the second time with the starting gun and rope.
