25 asylum seekers ensconced in the gymnasium in Oppland, police would fetch … – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): About 25 residents at the reception center in Lundby in Lunner municipality in Oppland has barricaded himself in a gymnasium on Thursday.

– Police were on site at 10:30 o’clock this morning assisting on site to remove an asylum seekers who had behaved threatening. He did that employees felt threatened, and they called the police.

– When police arrived at the place he was sitting and the other asylum seekers up, and it has now become an incident, said operations manager Trond shield in Vestoppland police told Dagbladet.

– We have tried to mediate there all day. We are in dialogue with asylum seekers, he said.

The reception at Lunby opened in October 2013 and is for minors, according to NTB.

– I have been informed that it is about 25 residents who have entrenched themselves in the gym. Resettlement concerns that a person is a minor, and thus be translated to an ordinary reception. In sympathy with the person has more engaged, explains reception coordinator Jon Anders Martinussen.

They will increase its staff out over the day, tells the receiving coordinator.
