The municipality closed this afternoon that Hjøllobrua because of the high water flow. The bridge will initially be closed until Monday.

The major flood from last year sitting in for oddingene.

– It was a traumatic experience for many in October made but NVE done much good work in the river and secured it. The assurance they have done to do that there may be 300 cubic per second without risk. We are some distance away from it now, says Opdal.

The municipality has prepared for the flood could come again.

– Emergency preparedness has been strengthened. We have several teams with a good guard plan. We had a meeting in the municipal crisis guild last week. All is in readiness and well prepared, should something happen, says Opdal.

– Worse Voss and Odda
