(Dagbladet): – I love Norway even though it is as cold here as in England. But I love Norway, because of the support from the people here, as I feel every time I’m here, said Malala Yousafzai in a brief meeting with the press tonight.

– People here say they support me and stand together with me in my struggle. Norway is a country that can be an example to the world and say that education is so important, said Malala.

May cram for exams

When asked by Dagbladet about how time has been after she won the Nobel Peace Prize last year, she said:

– After the Nobel Prize, I had to return to school and prepare for exams. Now I summer, ie it’s not Fori, for it is part of my life to fight for education.

– Now I’m keen to front that secondary education should mandatory and a right for all children in the world. Twelve years of free education for all children must be a right.

– Believe in yourself

When asked about Malala has a message to Norwegian youth, said Malala:

– My message to all the young people, also in Norway, is that you must believe in yourself. And you must not take education for granted. It is such a great opportunity you have had, you get a good education, and governments are focusing on education.

– In many countries countries do not, many countries do not increase education budgets. Many countries are not considered education important once. In this country, you have this opportunity.

She also urged young people in Norway to stand up for his brothers and sisters around the world so that everyone gets the right to education.

The main proponent

Prime Minister Erna Solberg did not hide that it is great to get the Nobel laureate as a participant of the education conference.

– The is a great opportunity for us to meet the world’s most important champion of education today. She is also evident that there can never be enough money on education, and that we must get more, while we find the best way to spend your money on, said Solberg.
