Called the police and came out with guns. Police loosened warning shots – Dagbladet.no

Police in Bodo had Friday night firing warning shots at a man who had called the police.

– There was a precarious situation when the man came out from the house and had a weapon in his hand, said police lawyer Viktor Madsen in Salten police district NTB.

Police in Bodø on Friday at 21 o’clock dial from an address outside of the city by a man who said he had exercised violence against a woman.

– He called the police because it was experiencing a situation that had become difficult for the accused and the victim. He needed help to get out of the situation, explaining the police prosecutor.

In his contact with the police man came also the threats to the police and said that he was armed.

Armed with two-handed weapon jerked police out to address, and when they arrived at the place the man came out with a weapon in his hands when he was called for. Then shot a policeman one shot into the air with a gun, after which it now accused man dropped the gun on the ground and surrendered.

– The weapon turned out to be plumbed, but in such a way that it was not possible to see it without opening it, says Madsen.

The man is in the late 20s and the aggrieved woman in mid 20s. The woman was clearly been subjected to violence and were sent to the emergency room at Nordland Hospital. Saturday she was on the mend and should police be printed during the day.

The violence accused man was Saturday during questioning by police in Salten. He has been appointed lawyer Finn Ove Smith defends.
