Two boys of 16 and 17 are charged with the rape of a 14 year old girl who was on a family vacation in Troms. They did not acknowledge guilt. The abuse allegedly occurred late Thursday night at one boy’s home in a municipality in Midtre Hålogaland police, writes Stavanger Aftenblad.
The boys were arrested Thursday night. Both were released after having made a statement.
The girl not questioned
According to police agents Borre Gunnerud in Midtre Hålogaland police district police have secured evidence in the case that can disprove or support explanations given. The girl was Tuesday night not questioned, even though it was five days since the assault allegedly occurred.
– Had this been a grown woman, she would have been questioned on the same day that this happened. But given that we’re talking about a child, must be conducted judicial examination, says Gunnerud to newspaper Nordlys.
Contacted after
The girl, who is from Rogaland, should have been familiar with the boys while she was on vacation with his family in Troms.
– She has already experienced that the accused after they were released contacted her on social media. After several reminders from our side ila police the defendants banned from contacting her, says counsel Anne hook to the newspaper.
