Girl (14) from Central Norway critically injured after being hit in Hedmark – Adresseavisen

The accident was reported to the operations center at Hedmark Police District at 15.50. The accident occurred at Strand church in Greater Elvdal.

– A 14-year-old girl was carsick and going out of the bus and pull air. She crossed the road and was hit by a car, says operations Bård Einar Hoft in Hedmark Police District.



On the way home

She was taken by ambulance and transported to Oslo University Hospital Ullevål department. The girl was walking home to Central Norway together with a handball which she is a member.

– She is being treated for serious injuries, says pressevakt Anders Bayer.

– Highway 3 was closed after the accident but has reopened. Accident Group to NPRA is notified, and they will probably investigate tomorrow, says Hoft.



– Embossed driver

The case is being investigated and the driver of the passenger car and witnesses will be questioned.

– There will be technical examination of the vehicle by crime technicians, and also accident group to Highways Agency, said operations Hoft.

In the passenger car that was involved in the accident were a total of three people.

– Our main focus has been to protect the driver. He is characterized by the incident, says Hoft.

Neither the driver nor the two passengers in the passenger car were physically unharmed. There are 80 zones on site.

– There are witnesses to the incident, but it will vary what they saw of the collision, he said.

The club should have gone further to their home in central Norway.
