Woman fell 20 meters at waterfall in Rogaland – Aftenposten

A hiker notified notify police about the fall of the 90-meter high Månafossen in Gjesdal municipality in Rogaland.

– According to the first message fallen woman off, and the detector could not see her anymore. She heard that she cried and tried to maintain contact with the woman, said operations manager Egil Karlsen in Rogaland police.

According to Karlsen she fell from a cliff that is about 20 meters above the ground. Police do not believe that the woman fell into the water itself falls.

At 12:30, were rescuers on site, and one rescuer is lowered to the woman from a helicopter.

She has been a breach in a foot and an arm, and is now being flown to Stavanger University Hospital, Stavanger Aftenblad writes.
