Search for missing fisherman resumed – Aftenposten

The exploration campaign continues at full strength as soon as it was announced:

We have taken a small pause while it was in the darkest but now we go again, said operations manager Jan Olaf Jansen at Telemark Police District told Aftenposten.no.

It has been well with the crews out in that area.

The missing man was fishing with a friend at Wind in Kilebygda in Skien in Telemark Friday.

They had fished all day and laid down to sleep under the open sky. When buddy woke Saturday morning, was 58-year-old away, according Varden.

– The man was gone when his friend woke up half past five o’clock this morning, and he has not been seen since the let himself yesterday. Buddy light even for a few hours before he announced, says operations manager Ole Kamben in Telemark police.

Civil Defence, Sea King, Norwegian rescue dogs, divers, the Red Cross and police crews with dogs participated in the search that started in 12 am Saturday.

– They’re doing fine search in the area where the man was last seen. They go up stisøk, while progress naturally intelligence. It will not be sought in water while it is night, but Sunday will be launched searches in the water with the camera, says Walle.
