– AMK report a traffic accident in which a moped has run off the road. The driver of the moped is seriously injured, said operations Per Aage Ferstad in Sunnmøre police.
The man was first flown to the hospital in Ålesund by air ambulance, before he later Sunday was transferred to St. Olav’s Hospital in Trondheim. The hospital says that he is seriously injured, but the condition is stable.
Police were alerted to the accident just before 3 o’clock Saturday night.
