He praises the current kindergarten for the way they have handled the matter in.

– They have demonstrated leadership by strengthening staffing and resources to stand up in this and accepting parents and children every day. This is a crisis that for kindergarten part can last for several years, but right now it’s the absolute worst point. Must watch routines

He also thank the police and the Children’s Houses in Tromsø for the cooperation so far.

– We are fortunate to have met in so competent people. Tromsø municipality has also set up and we have good cooperation with them, says Schjelderup.

– The accused has for several years been in contact with hundreds of children. Is it possible to guard against cases like this?

– On a general basis is it that kindergartens throughout Norway recruits people who are educated. It required police that one has a clean record. It will be made reference checks and they have well-established routines in kindergartens. But then there’s the way it is in many other sectors, there are people who work there. Our experience is that it is almost impossible to guard 100 percent, says Schjelderup adding:

– AFTER As police concludes its investigation, it is clear that the kindergarten in cooperation with the municipality must look at routines one he. That way you can see if anything could have been done differently.

Consents to prison
