Lyng fire started Tuesday night and fire field was hundreds of meters, said South Trøndelag police.
The area that burned is at Skarsvåg and cause of the fire is not yet known.
county road 716 between Flatval and Skarsvåg was closed due to the fire on Tuesday night.
There are fire guard on site throughout the morning to check that the fire did not pick up again.
