In total six men and one woman have been charged after a man allegedly raped in an apartment in Kristiansand. The rape happened the night of Sunday this week, writes Fædrelandsvennen.
All seven were arrested Sunday morning.
– It is a very serious matter. It concerns matters which have a maximum penalty of 21 years in prison, said police lawyer Ingrid Thorsen to Fædrelandsvennen.
All seven people have been charged with rape and aggravated assault. According to police, it is too early to say anything about the motive for the violence.
None of the defendants have admitted that they have done something punishable. According to the newspaper, several of them in the early 20s. Several of the people previously convicted.
The seven are prepared for custody Tuesday.
