23-year-old accused of carving murder Hareid – Sunnmørsposten

– He has a hard time understanding how he could have done such a thing, says defender.

The 23 year old is also charged sacrilege of the dead in that he dismembered the dead. There are especially aggravating circumstances, writes prosecutors in Møre og Romsdal and Sogn og Fjordane in the indictment, which became known on Wednesday.

The 23-year old man from Nordland who is now accused of having killed and dismembered Sami Milhem (20), has acknowledged the actual circumstances surrounding the murder.

– This is a tragic case, and he has a hard time understanding how he could have done such a thing, says defender, lawyer Johnny Veum, to NTB.

The trial starts on 16 March in Sunnmøre District Court in Ålesund. It is set by five days the matter. 23-year-old was intoxicated, but will in court telling what he can remember about the killing, according to the defender. (© NTB)
