It is Skjeggestad Bridge over the E18 which has had violations in construction. It is at Bentsrud near Holmestrand.
Bridge is a few hundred meters north of Bentsrud Crossing southbound direction. No person shall be harmed, said Vestfold Police.

Road Traffic Management Centre reports that it is signposted detour for northbound traffic at Hell Country Crossing and southbound at Island Crossing. Both northbound and southbound traffic headed through Holmestrand center.
Skjeggestad bridge is 218 meters long. The visible failure is southbound field.
– Could not see the car in front of me
There were about 45 people in vehicles that stopped when the bridge failed. Among them were three heavy vehicles. These are now waiting to be evacuated with minibuses.
