Monika Notifier feel betrayed by police management – Aftenposten

Schaefer was investigator in Hordaland Police and worked even with another murder case when he discovered Monika case in December 2013.

In a book that came out Friday, he very critical of how the case was handled.

– When a senior management get a case into and the only one meets is silence, there are signs that something is wrong says Schaefer told NRK.

He feels betrayed by his closest executives who initially supported the opinions of his, but bent by then senior management would not resume the case.

It was her mother’s counsel Stig Nilsen who in May 2014 petitioned the case reopened after Schaefer had made contact.

Police Geir Gudmundsen in Hordaland Police apologize to the Notifier, which he realizes responds that the case was not resumed earlier.

– It is clear that I see that the police district and chief earlier should have been built and resumed the case, he says to NRK.

Monika Sviglinskaja was found dead in his home in Sotra Hordaland in November 2011. The case was first dismissed as suicide. After the case was resumed, the mother’s former partner accused of murdering the eight year old girl.
