It was Tuesday morning unclear why Left chose to interrupt proceedings, three hours into the meeting entirely in the final phases of the very time-consuming process of police reform.
Party negotiation delegation should have had a need for further internal clarifications before they put the name ranks on their final agreement.
– We have a good dialogue, and police reform is closely understandingly. I’ve always dialogue with my Liberal colleagues in Parliament, says Nybø TV 2.
Leaks to the media suggest that Norwegian police are facing major structural changes if the reform is implemented. Among other government wants to reduce the number of police districts from 27 to twelve centralize district leadership and provide police champions responsibility where it should be sheriff offices.
Neither Left or government parties have made itself available to clarify the situation around the negotiations, and on police reform may be postponed further. The scheduled forwarded parliament Wednesday.
