Political strike will cause delays in air traffic today – Aftenposten

Parat stops Tuesday all traffic at the country’s largest airports in one hour starting at 13 to 14 in protest against the labor minister Robert Eriksson (FRP) proposals for greater access to temporary appointments. Airlines SAS, Widerøe and Norwegian affected.

For NTB says Widerøe that seven or eight flights will be affected for the company.

– The ultimate consequence we can get an occasional cancellation, but basically it delays we are talking about, says CIO Silje Brandvoll.

The delays can be anywhere from ten minutes to an hour, but the CIO asks passengers meet at the usual time. The other two airlines ask passengers meet at the usual time. Norwegian state that they have a handful of domestic flights in the relevant period Tuesday, but that they are uncertain about the consequences action will have for their customers.

– They who might be affected, get direct information from us so quickly as possible, says director Lasse Sandakerveien-Nielsen.

SAS informs that expects to get those flights they should, but that it certainly will be delays.
