Man dead after brawl at Stord – Aftenposten

Police was notified about the incident clock 06.55 Sunday and pulled out to a residence on Sagvåg. There were two couples present, 50-year-old man in their 40s and their partners, according bt.no.

50-year-old was unconscious when police arrived. He was sent to Haukeland hospital with major head injuries. The clock 13.35 reports Haukeland hospital that he is dead, and that relatives are notified.

– He has been subjected to rough and blunt violence. He was unconscious and not possible to make contact with when we got to the place, says Jarle Utne Reitan, operations manager at Haugaland and Sunnhordland police.

What has happened is still unclear, but the two women are key witnesses in the case.

Two couples in residence

Crime Technicians are on their way to the residence Sunday afternoon. The arrested man is questioned by police Sunday afternoon.

According to police, there were two couples in residence . Police said there has been an argument between the two pairs.

– It has been a scuffle which evolved. We will not say anything more about the incident before detailed questioning is completed, says Reitan.
