Haugaland and Sunnhordland police announced at 19.30 that the rescue operation in Bogshamn was called off and that the search for a presumed dead will be considered at a later date.
The missing is a 32 year old man from Latvia, according police.
The accident must have happened at 15 o’clock, but the police did not notice about the incident before the clock 16.54.
