Hemsedal murder: Found murdered woman in the freezer – VG

Here are the freezer with the murdered woman (34) taken out of the apartment in Hemsedal. Deceased husband (44) left the country before the murder was discovered. Monday afternoon police were alerted to the discovery of the Norwegian-Iraqi woman.

Police Forensic recent days secured tracks at the scene – an apartment located at Ulsåk in Hemsedal, where 34-year-old lived with her husband and their two minors children.

Monday this week, she was found murdered in his own home.

At lunchtime Tuesday backed a civilian van right up to the front door of the apartment, and the freezer with the deceased was taken out and gently placed it. VG are told that the murdered woman was found in the same freezer.



Should autopsied

Police would not comment on the VG information about how she was found.

How the woman was killed is so far not clear, since the autopsy probably will not take place until Friday, getting VG lighted.

The police have already charged her 44-year-old husband for murder. He is still at large and police believe to know with certainty where he is.

According to the VG information, he finds himself in a country that makes extradition to Norway difficult. The couple came from northern Iraq to Norway as political refugees in 2009.

The last four years, the family has lived in different places in Hemsedal. According National Registry moved into an apartment located at Ulsåk in April.

Thursday last week she met not up to the job at the law firm.

Friday she would at work on asylum reception, but this morning the husband must have called in and told that she was ill.

Police would not comment when last ensure observation of the deceased was done.

If the murder was committed already in the middle of last week, that means her husband has had several days to get out of the country.

– The police are starting to get good knowledge of when the murder allegedly occurred, said police lawyer Omholt.

The couple’s two minor children shall judge questioning Thursday this to clarify whether they have witnessed murder on his mother.
