Four injured in traffic accident in Aurskog-Holand – Aftenposten

The accident happened when a man sitting alone in the car came driving from Loken and would cross county 229 and onto Foremost Pond Road.

The vehicle was hit in the side of a car with three people who came from Bjørkelangen.

According to Romerike Police did not comply with the man flinch duty when he was crossing right of way.

The driver was stuck squeezed and termed as seriously injured. When he was freed, he was flown to Ullevål hospital in ambulance. The three in the other car got minor injuries and was taken to Ahus in Lørenskog ambulance.

Earlier Saturday was a ten year old girl was flown to Ullevål Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. In addition, another child driven to the same hospital, while one adult and one child is brought to Ahus.

The accident happened in the northbound field E6 and was reported to the police at 11:48.

– There was a car that lost some cargo from a trailer. The car behind slowed and was hit from behind by the car that came back there again, says operations manager Øyvind Strømsborg in Romerike police.

Two children sat in the backseat of the car that was hit, and they are brought to Ullevål hospitals. Police said the children were injured by loose baggage. The other two injured sitting in the rearmost car.

E6 northbound was closed for a period after the accident.
