NHO boss hard against Parat – Sunnmørsposten

– We are experiencing a union which mangles a company in a very stressful situation. I would go so far as to say that it is a great challenge for the tripartite Norway if we get more of that kind of irresponsible union behavior, says Skogen Lund NRK.

NHO director points out that airlines went at a loss of over 1.5 billion last year, and that the aviation industry is characterized by fierce international competition. English therefore needs restructuring and cost reduction, she said.

– Kjos has stretched far beyond what one would expect to get pilots to meet. Yet they require position guarantees more pilots than it needs in a company must downsize. In NHO history we have never seen similar unreasonable demands, says Skogen Lund.

NHO Director believes the pilots demands are so high that it puts far lower paid pilot colleagues jobs at risk.

Federal Leader Hans Erik Skjæggerud Parat rejects demands are unreasonable, adding that the union has acknowledged that English is in a tough financial situation. (© NTB)
